Hello, Nerdfighters! My best mate Kerryn was pestering me on how I spent too much time blogging and that I should "leave it for tomorrow."(He'll never understand :P) It's an outlet for creative writing as well as letting those around you know what's going down in the world in your retrospective. It can be a journal of what has recently happen in your life, or just a quick shout out to people letting them know you haven't passed away or something. I enjoy blogging, and BEDA (which is a personal challenge that I wanted to do) is a just a great excuse to do so, without thinking you can just put it off till tomorrow, or the next day, or the next day...

I've known Kerryn since around grade 9 when we both got into Drama at school. As far as I recall, it was through this subject which included such things as group presentations, drama games and just a general relaxing flow that got all of the class pretty tight, friendship wise. As high school went on, him, myself and a group of our friends continued to stay pretty close and always enjoyed one another's company. I mean, we were seniors at high school, and yet we all played our own version of cross-country, build-up tag. how mad was that? He and I also shared Maths and Film, Tv and New Media classes together with our great teachers Mr Dowling, and Mr Caldwell respectively. This continued on all the way through till graduation in 2008.

Now, even though this blog is pretty much a response to him jokingly telling me that I should "blog this", and to "blog that", I felt that I should (for this blog at least) change directions from my usual format and aim it directly at my friends, just because... I can? It is my blog after all :P
Now, ever since graduation, as you would expect, things were only going to change from what we were used to. The group doesn't always have time to hang out, due to some of us attending university - either still in town, in the neighbouring city of Brisbane or in a different state all-together. And if weren't studying, some of the group like myself work full time and just don't get the chance during the week to just "come hang".
Now, in saying that, I've always felt lucky in regards to how the majority of us still manage to keep in contact with each other. Especially Kerryn and myself who have many things in common. Heck, whenever we all manage to spend time together, we always have a blast!

125 Days until I'm heading over to London for my Doctor Who Experience and Touring. I can't wait, it's gonna be brilliant!
